Rankin County Democrats will meet on Thursday, April 7, at 6:00 pm in the Rankin County Board of Supervisors boardroom in downtown Brandon. At this meeting, the executive committee will elect officers for the 2016-2020 term and discuss our path forward as a party. There will be additional discussions about the convention process. Federation of Democratic Women
The Rankin County Federation of Democratic Women will hold its next meeting Wednesday, March 2nd, at the Flowood Public Library next to Winner’s Circle Park. It will begin at 6:00 pm and guests and friends are encouraged to participate.

Executive Committee Meeting
The Rankin County Democratic Executive Committee will meet on Thursday, March 3rd, at the board of supervisors’ boardroom in Brandon beginning at 6:00 pm. The Rankin County Democratic Party Convention will be held Saturday, March 12th, at the Brandon Public Library on Highway 80 next to the Brandon Police Department headquarters. On Saturday, February 13th, at 10:00 am, be at your voting precinct to meet fellow Democrats in order to conduct your precinct caucus. Precinct Caucuses

The 2016 precinct caucuses will be held Saturday, February 13th, at 10:00 am! This is the most important party-building step that occurs every four years. It is critical that every Democratic voter attend her or his caucus and participate in this brief process. You can find more information about the caucuses by clicking here. Poll Worker Training

If you or someone you know is interested in serving as a paid poll worker for the March 8th Democratic Party primary and a possible March 29th runoff election, email [email protected] for more information. Trainings will begin early next year, so stay tuned for scheduling updates. Be advised that attending a training does not guarantee you will be hired to work.

The Rankin County Federation of Democratic Women will host a holiday luncheon on Saturday, December 12th, from noon until 3:00 pm at Berry’s Seafood on Highway 49 in Florence. The voter registration deadline for the General Election is Saturday, October 3, at noon. To register to vote, download, print, and complete the Voter Registration Application below. Completed forms must be hand-delivered to the Rankin County Circuit Clerk at 215 East Government Street, Brandon, MS 39042 or mailed to Post Office Box 1599, Brandon, MS 39043.

Join us at the Flowood Corner Bakery on Lakeland Drive this Saturday, October 3, at 8:30 am for Breakfast with Democrats! Come hear from our Democratic candidates about how you can help their campaigns. Following the breakfast, we will go door-to-door canvassing so be sure to wear comfortable clothes. You may even get a free campaign t-shirt for helping! It will be a fun way to fire up our voters for the election!

The Rankin County Federation of Democratic Women is hosting two membership outreach events in October, and you don’t want to miss them! Be sure to bring at least one family member or friend.
