Join the Rankin County Federation of Democratic Women for their first planning meeting of 2015! There is much to discuss so be sure to not miss this meeting.
It will be held at the Flowood Library (103 Winners Circle, Flowood, MS 39232) on Tuesday, January 6, from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm.
Join us for our quarterly executive committee meeting on Thursday, January 8, at 6:00 pm. All are invited to the Rankin County Board of Supervisors boardroom!
Rep. Cecil Brown, candidate for the Public Service Commission, will join us for this meeting. Please come out and meet the candidates!
Please join us for our Rankin County Federation of Democratic Women Executive Board meeting. Refreshments are available to purchase. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Our Executive Board will be focused on planning our calendar and working on future programs of interest. All are welcome!
All Democratic women are invited to come and county Federation chapter members are encouraged to participate. The annual event includes serving lunch to our state legislators in the Mississippi State Capitol Rotunda. Assistance is needed beginning at 10:00 AM in order to set up for the luncheon. Parking is available in the First Baptist Church parking lot across the street from the Capitol building.
County Chapters are also asked to bring several deserts for the desert table. Our state president, Gloria Williamson, would like to have a strong showing for the Democratic Women’s press conference at 2:00 pm and to attend our membership meeting directly following the conference.
All Federation members are encouraged to attend, please plan to stay for the day — remember to Wear Blue! This is our day to shine, to send our Democratic message to our legislators, and to show support for our state Federation. President Gloria Williamson will be very pleased to see y’all!
The Rankin County Federation of Democratic Women will hold its next meeting on Monday, April 6, at 6:00 pm in the Pearl Municipal Library which is located at 2416 Old Brandon Road, Pearl, MS 39208.

In preparation for the April 25 convention, there will be a reception on Friday, April 24, at the Jackson Municipal Art Gallery, located at 839 North State Street, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Parking is located at the rear of the building on President Street.

Mississippi Democrats have an excellent opportunity to elect women to many statewide, district, and legislative seats on November 3.
