The 2013 Jefferson-Jackson-Hamer dinner is upon us! This is the Mississippi Democratic Party’s largest fundraising event of the year, and we want you at the table!
Our special guest speaker this year is Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak. Mayor Rybak is a Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee whose focus is building Democratic grassroots on the municipal level. Based on what Mississippi Democrats achieved in the June 4 elections, Mayor Rybak is very excited to visit us and hear our story.

An individual ticket for the dinner costs $120; for a Yellow Dog Club member, your ticket is $60. If you wish to join the Yellow Dog Club, you can join by clicking HERE.

The fourth quarter meeting of the Rankin County Democratic Executive Committee will be held following the Ready for Hillary event.
United States Senator, and Chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, Bernie Sanders of Vermont will host a town hall in Jackson to advocate his campaign for economic justice.
Among the issues Sanders will discuss are the creation of livable wages, stopping cuts to Social Security, improving care for veterans, and tackling the rising cost of student loan debt.

The 2015 elections will soon be upon us. Come greet some of our legislative leaders and hear what plans are in store to help flip control of the Mississippi Legislature back to the Democrats.

The Rankin County Federation of Democratic Women will hold their holiday social on Saturday, December 21. It will be held atMiller’s Grill and Pizzeria beginning at 12:00 pm. All are encouraged to join!
