The Rankin County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to discuss changes to voting precinct locations. With population growth and loss in some areas, precinct locations are likely to be modified. Please attend this important hearing and let your supervisor know how you feel about these proposed changes.

The Rankin County Democratic Executive Committee is meeting to elect individuals to fill vacancies on the Executive Committee and to elect a new Vice Chair.
The Executive Committee has three female and three male vacancies in County Supervisor District 1 (Florence and Richland), one female vacancy in County Supervisor District 3 (Brandon), one female and one male vacancy in County Supervisor District 4 (Brandon), one male vacancy in County Supervisor District 5 (Pearl), and one at-large vacancy.
If you or someone you know is interested in serving on the Rankin County Democratic Executive Committee, please attend this meeting. Be prepared to introduce yourself to the Committee and how you feel you would be an asset to our team.

The Rankin County Federation of Democratic Women would like to extend an invitation to everyone to attend our Sunday Afternoon Tea that will be held at the Eudora Welty Library, June 23 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
This year we will have two speakers, Carol Penick and Jamie Bardwell from the Women’s Fund. They will both be outstanding speakers and will have lots to say about issues facing women in Mississippi today. This is a great time for all of us in the tri-county area to get together and visit, so please invite your family and friends to come, as well.
