The Pearl Municipal Committee will hold its organizational meeting to elect an executive committee and officers for the next four years. This is an important process to build a stronger Democratic Party in Rankin County and Mississippi. All registered voters in the city of Pearl are encouraged to participate.

This is an important process to build a stronger Democratic Party in Rankin County and Mississippi. All registered voters in the city of Brandon are encouraged to participate.
Keep the Rez Beautiful is hosting a Great American Cleanup, in which volunteers will pick up trash on foot and by boat, helping clean Reservoir streams and streets. We’re meeting at 9 a.m. at the vacant site on Scenic Drive (parallel to Spillway Road) between Oak Street and Turtle Creek Drive. It is also across the street from Lakeside Presbyterian Church. If you have a kayak, gloves, and boots, please bring! We’ll have food for you at about noon to thank you for helping us clean up litter in our community. Extra Shot of Blue is a coffee shop-based event that will help spread the outreach of Rankin County Democrats. It will be an hour of fun and fellowship! Grab a cup of coffee and a seat. All are welcome!
We will meet in the private dining room at the Pearl Dunkin’ Donuts, near the Tinseltown movie theatre.

Our special guest will be Mississippi Democratic Trust Executive Director Brandon Jones.
The Rankin County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing to discuss changes to voting precinct locations. With population growth and loss in some areas, precinct locations are likely to be modified. Please attend this important hearing and let your supervisor know how you feel about these proposed changes.
